IEEE SB, Raghu Engineering College (A), organized a Technical talk on “Applications of Electronics in Medical Device Technology” by Mr.Bujunuru Nagaraju, AGM-South, Sodexo India Services Pvt. Ltd. on Friday, March 10, 2023. This technical talk is organized for the benefit of the students to get industry exposure. Ms.Harshana, Student Secretary, IEEE SB, invited Mr.B.Nagaraju; Resource Person on to the Dias and Mr. Karthikeya, Treasurer, IEEE SB presented a flower bouquet to resource person. Ms.Harshana gave a brief introduction about Mr.B.Nagaraju, the resource person and then she handed over the session to him at 10.45 AM. The lecture was mainly focused on the usage of Electronic circuits in Bio-Medical Instruments. He started technical talk with an introduction to Medical Electronics and discussed about the importance of sensors usage in Bio-Medical Instruments. He briefly discussed about Biomedical Signal processing and medical diagnosis methods like MRI, CT Scan, etc. He added information about applications of electronics in Prosthetic devices. Students are able to understand about usage of electronics in Bio-Medical Instruments & Bio electric signals. Ms.Harshana, Student Secretary invited Dr.Ch.Srinivasu, Principal to present Memento to Resource Person Mr.B.Nagaraju. The technical talk came to an end by vote of thanks proposed by Ms.Ramya Geethika, IEEE Member and the feedback session. The session was very informative and interactive for the 2 nd B.Tech students.

The function started with lightening lamp by all dignitaries on dais (Chief Guest, Principal and Dean-Quality ) followed by traditional prayer. The Dean- Quality Dr. P. Jamaleswara Kumar given a welcome note on the event emphasizing about the Quality and its measure with importance. The Principal Prof. Kameswara rao given a good enlightens speech on the quality aspects and about the quality policy of REC. The Chief Guest Captain S. Chandran given a remarkable presentation on the The Importance of Trust — and the role that all stakeholders have in building and maintaining it. He mentioned the importance of today’s education quality need and end up.
